Well today is going to be a nerve racking day for Johnanthon and myself, my baby is going to be taking behind the wheel test for driving, on one hand I am very excited for him, but on the other hand I am a wee bit scared, not scared of his driving, I'd let this young man drive all around this huge world and not think twice about it! when I'm with him while he drives he's an excellent driver but who knows how he is when I'm not, I'm nervous about the independence he'll have, the letting go, knowing my baby is growing up, I am so not ready for it, then just last night I told my Mom "I really hope he passes, I'm tired of being late for work on school mornings" My Johnanthon is a pretty responsible guy, he knew he'd be driving and he took his truck down and got new brakes on it, had the oil changed, and his engine serviced, not with my money, with his own, he's got a firm grip on his money, if its something he knows he going to need, he SAVES, unlike his sister, she loves to SPEND her's, just a small example in the difference of the two! So, I end this post with this verse, that goes with today....
" Behold, I am with you
and will keep you wherever
you go" Genesis 28:15
NKJV
** as of 2:30 p.m.
I am sad to say Johnanthon didn't pass his
behind the wheel test, the instructor gave him
a tricked instruction and he responded to it! So...
maybe next time, goes back in 3 week's.

i'm sure he is so disappointed....but it will just help him for next time.....we are worried when they pass and sad when they don't! :) that what motherhood is all about!
love you,
kimberly
I so remember when my boys first started to drive...... a real nail biter........... remember to pray over him every day........my youngest son is 39 and I still pray over him..... He now drives a cop car with lights and sirens! I really have to pray!
He'll be sure to pass next time, tell him to keep his chin up...three weeks will go by fast!
xoxo
He will pass next time for sure! It is hard letting go of the "baby" isn't it?
Sending you love, Nita
