"work & my walk"

Well Hello dear friends....I had to work this week end and you know it wasn't half bad, it's usually nice on the week ends cause all the "big" bosses are off and its usually allot more laid back, today on the other hand was a different storey, we do a month rotation from the of the floors so we don't get so burned out and we rotate with different co~workers as well, so some of us don't get burned out working with the same' ol slave drivers, and when that happens we all get paired up from time to time with co~workers we don't care too much about, and that's what's happened to me...EEEEK!! and I was sooooo crappy at lunch, that a co~worker had the nerve to ask me "Did you take her hormones today" she didn't just me ask me once but like three time's....not going to well with me and I said "Look "G" if you ask me that just one more time, I'm going to shove the whole bottle of hormones down your throat, and besides I take my medicine, whats your excuse!" she ALWAYS forget's to take hers, my rotation partner is a take control addict, likes for people to think she's in control, she wont let us aides go in the rooms and introduce our self's to the patients or family, and she wants to talk to the nurse's, she once had the nerve to tell me "I want them to know that there is someone in here with some education" man my blood was boiling, she didn't go to school, she challenged the board for her licence in physical therapy, and of course I had to respond to that "Education?" I said..."You didn't go to school for this, you challenged the boards your idiot!" and she has tried to start some horrible rumors about me at work, and man I put a stop to that, I wrote her up for a hostile work environment and took it across the street to personal and the hospital attorney! Miss with me some more!!!! So "V" a dear friend and loves to pray for people, took me off to the side and talked to me and said " Satin's wanting you to act this way, and I believe God wants you to be with her for this month, lets pray Annette" so I have come to the conclusion, she will see I have the fruit of Holy Spirit and will want what I have, this isn't going to be a easy thing to do with her, but I am determined to do it...I now laugh at what I told "G", and I will apologize when I go back to work on Thursday, poor thing she meant well, her feelings where genuine! who said anything about life or work being easy, its a difficult task to live in this world, but we all must learn something everyday we wake up, and the difference I will make on someone, but these patients I had to day, I had over the week end, and everyone of them asked me "Whats wrong, your not talking" I am a chatty Cathy with patients, but not to day. I am going to have to meditate every morning before going work for a month, my walk with Jesus, surly will be a good one by the end of the month, don't you think?

It is really hard to work with people who are like that. I understand completely. Try to get some time for yourself everyday just to unwind. And thank you for the kind comments! You are too sweet.

Whoa! That was hard . I know just what you are talking about Annette. Swapping co workers and work areas sounds like a good idea to me>

Yes your walk with Jesus will be a sweet one my friend.

Hope your day goes better tomorrow.

I had this terrible boss once. She reminded me of a Banty (I think it might me Bantam, but Grandmother called them Banty) rooster.... She was very short and petite...(cause me to not like her right out of the gate) anyway.. She was a tyrant and every day when I would hear her voice my stomach would knot up...... She cussed all the time and the spirit in my just recoiled. She did not like me and made me take all the "God" stuff off of my computer... I hated going to work until I made a decision that she was not going to make my life miserable. So, everyday when she would cuss, I would respond to her with God talk. Well I would say, I will pray about that, or praise he Lord, or some such....... She would turn red in the face and leave.. It took a long time, but she finally stopped cussing around me and usually she was nice and would not stay long. I am not sure if it was too much for her or she got saved! ahahhaha She left for a better job a couple of years latter......but my days were much better and my stomach unknotted!

Bless your heart....... Fight that kind of a day with the word of God.. He is the best warrior I know........
