unpacking....too final

Well I have been home from Oklahoma since Saturday morning and I still haven't unpacked my suite case, just been going around it and I know I haven't put things away for a reason, too final, my trip was a bitter sweet one, an Easter Sunday I will never forget as long as I have my mind. God was so good, the day before it was so windy and the night before it was so cold and I asked God the night before to give us good weather, the kind Daddy would have liked and he did, sun shining and no wind, there where about 600 people who attended Daddy's funeral, their church held 600 people in the main sanctuary and a hand full in the top balcony and flowers up the kazoo. My daddy's minister said "Mr. Hale loved his family and every Sunday he'd walk to the alter and prayed for all of his children" here was a man who was sick himself from a previous stroke and he never asked for a healing instead he prayed for me and my other siblings, what an unselfish man my daddy was, he was big boy and looked gruff on the outside but inside he was like the angels that where with him, sweet, kind and gentle and so loving. I told my baby brother " you know Marty, here I am in Oklahoma and he doesn't even know" "O, sis, he knows" he said back to me hugging me, my baby brother was so in the world at one time, went to prison for drugs served his time and when he got out he started going to church with daddy and my step mom and is on fire for the Lord, it was sweet seeing him sing the songs and raising his hand in praise on that day. I miss my daddy today, even though he lived in Oklahoma we had a bond, we finally formed a bond after years of absence from each other, that was the works of our heavenly master!
