The weather is nice this morning, a beautiful breeze that's cool, although I LOVED the weather we had yesterday, Thank you Kim for sending Joni and I that tad bit of thunder, a few teases of lightning and rain yesterday, you truly did make my day! although I know God heard my plea for rain and he took it from Arizona and sent it this way! and I didn't get a darn thing done around here yesterday cause of it! I sat and enjoyed it instead!! I think I've might of told all of you about how my teenagers when they where babes would be scared of the thunder and I would tell them " Don't be scared, the gates of heaven are closing, or the doors to Gods house was slamming" and they'd be fine with that, well, yesterday they where really closing, must of been a busy day up in heaven! I told Amanda that when she came home from work, and she just looked at me like I was weird, imagine that! you all know the look now ;) and I had to retell the story, she just giggled and hugged me and asked "How do you remember things like that?" I explained that I never forget the sweetness and innocence of my babies, it's these teenage years I'd like to forget sometimes, with a hug, as shes gathering cloths to go some where with a friend. Why do babies have to grow up? O, wait! I know why! so I can look forward to having grandchildren, and then I can tell their parents what my sweet mom would tell me, the one I still don't like to hear " I know Annette" or the one I HATED to hear " I hope I'm around when you have kids, and then I can sit back and laugh" and that's exactly what she does when I call to complain about one or both of them! The nerve! she doesn't have a sympathetic ear for ME! My Mom......makes me laugh, shes defiantly unique in all of the manner of the word!!!!!!!!!
Here's a cartoon I found for all of you! Hope it makes you laugh or at least smile!
Love ya, Annette

Hello my dear friend.
Life around here is full of challenge at the moment. With my family of origin causing some caustic fumes. I do not even find myself blogging freely any more. I owned some frustrations and mean thoughts toward a sibling who provokes them daily.
I just want to go away from these people. A niece by marriage has come to me asking about the history. It threatens me and yet it thrills me too.
I have had a very very challenging several days.
Steve and I spoke of starting a blog by invitation only that way I can have some privacy for my EVIL sister it is so hard to love the unlovely two faced vipers.
so glad that you got some of God's blessings......rain, lightning and thunder! :-)....after i talked with you i started wishing it your way too as kyle and cassie were on an airplane headed our way!...was a little worried...but they made it safe and sound and we had a wonderful turnout for bryan's party last night....now i'm gonna go take a nap! :-)
hugs and love,
kimberly
I love your stories. Thanks for sharing.
I love you and have SOOOOOOOOO missed coming here and please forgive me...... things here are in an emotional roller coaster for me and I will send you an email tomorrow.. but I think I am about to get back to the blog! I have so missed you!!!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you're back on. My kids have always liked thunder. I think they especially get that from hubby dear. I just had to smile about your daughter thinking you're weird. When my daughter was a teenager I told her it was in the mother's handbook that I had to embarass her often to make up for all the times she embarassed me when she was little.
Big Hugs,
Vickie
Normally, I love the rain...but it came during our little garage sale! We had a very short one saturday and another on sunday and there's STILL so much stuff left...I'm blaming the rain! We'll just have to have another one soon! I did however, enjoy that thunder...makes me want to be cozy in the house cooking soup or something.
love to you cupcake ~
