Today I am HAPPY it's suppose to RAIN! I woke to clouds, and all of you know how I love the RAIN and when I went out to fetch the paper I could smell it...AHHHHH that beautiful smell! We need it, I'm thinking, now the farmers might tell a different story, but then when the RAIN has fallen and washed everything off, here comes the allergies again. I love to watch it and hear it, so soothing, gives me time to think about so much, life, children, my mom, and that's when I catch my self chit chatting to our Lord, I've been chit chatting to him allot to him about some very personal things that are going around here in my home, RAIN washes everything off, makes things clean, like the blood of Jesus has done for me, but I'm having a difficult time doing so with one particular problem around here, I've taught my children to look pass every ones faults and forgive them for all wrong doing's, but I'm I practicing what I've taught them? Nope, and the sad part is they know how I feel! BUT, I can not let one problem ruin my day all I can do is pray and pray and pray and allow God to have his time. I've tried so hard to talk to someone in this home about the problem, but then I get the deaf ears, and you'd think I was the one with the hearing problem, by the way this one person yells back in self defence, that's what we do when we feel attacked, I hope I am wrong about the whole thing, I'd like to think so.
Today I will........
live with love in my heart
and chat with our Lord
be happy that I can wake up every morning
and drink my coffee, read the paper
& LOVE MY TEENAGERS!!!!

I love the smell of rain..... It is one of my most favorite things.... Especially in the spring time... Something about clean air and all the death from the winter washing away....... I think that is from being raised on the farm..... Sweet memories..... I will pray for you my friend with your journey raising teens.... I remember the days with two teens in my home..... Mistakes were made..... but God is bigger than our mistakes..... We can PRAY....... stand in the gap! Go to war for the children..... Knowledge that perhaps our parents did not have.. but we do........
