"My Sweet Girl"

Even though you all know how my daughter can get under my skin and just aggravate's my last little nerve and I so bad want to make her pay rent cause she comes and goes as she pleases but when she does things that make me proud to be her mother I so forget everything for a second or two, last night she came in from work and said "I'm doing a great deed" and I looked at her with a look like "yea, now what's happened" she handed me this pink piece of paper for payroll deduction and at first I got to thinking "Right on...she's putting her paycheck into my checking account...cool I don't have to ask for room and board" and to my surprise she's donating $ 5.00 out of her weekly paychecks to assist with feeding the "Children's Miracle Network" for 52 pay periods and another $5.00 for "Food For Families" for 52 pay periods, what a unselfish young lady I have for a daughter, it made my heart melt, she hears me talking about Joni's new friends and what Joni does and it makes me sad to know the holidays are fast approaching and just are these lovely people going to eat for Thanksgiving, well Johnanthon on the other hand is a good hearted little young man but he tries so hard to play the "Hard core" role was sitting on the love seat with his new Halloween wig on, its' a stupid long hair mullet one, looking quit funny says "Why don't you just give me that money, I know what I can do with it" looking so serious with that dang wig on, the arguing was on now, she got very offended by this and told him 'You never know John, one day someone might have to feed you and your family and it wont be Mom and Dad, and besides this makes God very, very happy with me and it will come back" his reply 'Yea, it will come back to you, at the end of the year" she was so mad she cried. I reminded her that God was indeed very pleased with her for following her heart and not thinking selfishly with her money, the angels are rejoicing with him, and John is all act, not to pay any mind to him, that when you feel good about something it is the right thing to do. I only wish she'd listen to her heart more often before she speaks to me in an ugly manner, or think about her actions more carefully, and I know she doesn't mean to be "Ugly" cause she's one of the most prettiest things God has gifted me with, and he doesn't create ugly things only beautiful things!!

Kids never cease to amaze me. I love when God works in their hearts to bring them to action in whatever it is...John cracks me up...if Amanda wasn't his sister he probably would have cheered her on. Tell her she is making a difference...I believe that with all my heart...ONE PERSON can make a difference.

Love to you ~
