"SWeet, swEET SUNday"

Guess what? It's still raining off and on here, more of a sprinkle type thing, but I got to thinking yesterday...I bet when this rain leaves it's going to get mucky here, but nothing like Oklahoma's, thank goodness. I had Larry bbq'ing out in the rain yesterday, and Chris sneaked over here to eat, told his parents he had to work, then covered his base's, I asked him"Honey what would you do if they came up to the door?" cause they do know where we live after all, his response was "I'd ask them if they like to come and eat some of Larry's kick a-- tri~tip, and tell them to try your awesome macaroni salad" He said he missed just hanging and chatting with me and Larry, and he so loves to tease Johnanthon. I missed him too, we all did! I think the birds are loving this clean air, they are out there just whistling away to each other, I heard a nest of babies this morning when mom came in to feed, loved it! the weeds are already popping up, like look at me Annette, I'm here for you! I did pull some of the more stubborn ones yesterday while it was raining. I feel a bit lazy already today and I need to go and get a belt for for my vacuum cleaner, poor Amanda was vacuuming her room for a change, got it caught on her bedspread tag, and the spinner was just a screeching, and when she pulled it off, the belt broke, the one time she decides to clean her room extremely good this happened, I told her, "Don't take it as a sign" and Johnanthon has to throw his 2 cents in and said,"Mom is going to go throw withdrawals with out her vacuum!" he'll think withdrawals when I get in his room! I love his sense of humor, he's so serious looking when he says stuff, if you don't know him you'd think he was serious, I have no clue where he picked that trait up from, I am not able to keep a straight face, or like he tells me "your eyes give you away when you try not smile" well dear ones I'm off to get ready so I wont go threw "Vacuum withdrawals" as my John so kindly puts it! Hugs to all.........

It is a sweet, sweet Sunday and I love all the garden activity when the weather is like this...the birds are chirping and all is well. Too bad about the vac belt, I don't like when that happens, especially the smell that comes with it! Hope your day has a few moments of leisure away from cleaning...find a cozy corner and leaf through some magazines, that's what I've been doing!

sending you love ~

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
