"sTEPPING bACK"

I've already been busy, yesterday I started trimming on those Bottle Brush plants we have here and had to stop due to bee's making me aware they were not liking me, so this morning before they came out buzzing around I finished trimming on a few of them, if I had my way I'd yank them suckers out, they only sweet about them is that humming birds come and eat from them, other then that they are useless! I do think Amanda was sick last night, she assisted with supper, then Chris came and ate with us, he came and said "Whats going on?" I said "Look. Amanda is playing Suzy homemaker" and out came the phone camera, then it dawned on me, she invited him over for supper, that's all good, I told him "Why don't you come over every night" then it was off to the movies. Larry and I really like this boy, he's so sweet and kind, and the way he looks at my daughter is indescribably, she still has her guards up, and I cant say I blame her. I go back to work on Monday, I don't know if I want too but the Dr. says so, so I'm going with the attitude..."I'm not going to let no one bother me, and I'm not taking things personally" I have to remind my self I am there for the patients and their families, not for my co workers, and what gets done around here gets done, and what doesn't it will be there for when I am ready to tackle it, no body else is worried about it, so why should I be? so I have to learn to take a step back now, and that's not going to be easy. I step back is 2 steps forward, so foreword I go.....

sounds familiar, annette....i don't work outside our home...but i watch grandbabies a lot .....and sometimes i just have to "let go" of getting stuff done....it doesn't seem to bother anyone else, so.....and it is just family that comes over. and what does get done, quickly gets undone....:) besides..you are making a far more important contribution in life....being there for those in need!
hugs, annette....enjoy your sweet weekend!

ah yes, two steps forward, one step back...I know that feeling, sometimes its the other way around at my house...if I have a big homework project to do, absolutely nothing gets done in my house and then I have to work extra hard to catch up...what's a girl to do? Glad Amanda and Chris are working out, he sounds like a nice boy...enjoy your weekend in the fresh sunshine...it's a good peach tea day!
xoxo,
Joni
