Thanksgiving, silverware drying 101, & prayer request....

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and I read some where that it takes all together about 10 hours to prepare for that holiday and this includes prepping, setting the table, cooking, and ect and in about 45 minutes it's over, food ate, table cleared and some dishes washed, crazy uh? Thanksgiving at Mom's was small but so very sweet, it was her, my step dad, my 2 children and myself, I wish Amanda hadnt forgotten the camera, my Mom handed them each a towel and told them " Get to drying those dishes your Mother just washed" I so bad wish you could of just seen the excitement on their face, you could truly tell they where enjoying themselves......NOT!! Johnanthon taught us all how to dry silverware...put a pile of good silverware in the middle of the towel, wrap it around the silverware and rub the towel back & forth, up & down and walla......done!! I seriously could hear my brother laughing over "drying grandma's good silverware 101" My brothers son and his girlfriend ( one day she will be my niece ) came by later for dessert and chatted, I was so happy over that and that just made my mom's evening, but my brothers daughter did not show or call, but thats fine, what ever......but in a nut shell it turned out to be a great evening...
Today were suppose to decorate the house for CHRISTmas, last year I didnt do a darn thing, had out 1 Santa Clause and "A" poinsetta, I didnt do any shopping at all until the last minute, were talking like on CHRISTmas eve!! I just wa
snt in the mood, I HATED it last year, but I promised my brother I would this year, do you remember me telling you how my brother loved to come over to see what I got new for decorations, well this year at a yard sale I bought a little CHRISTmas corasell that goes on the fireplace mantel, and when I told the lady who was having the yard sale about last year and how I didnt decorate, she gave me, thats right ladies GAVE me a Mr & Mrs. Santa clause, now this is bringing tears to my eyes and said " Honey your brother will see you got 2 new things and hugged me and reminded me that GOD loved me and that I will see my brother SOOON, so I think I will take this lady something, isnt it just the neatest thing ever how GOD works? I usually dont stop at yard sales much any more, but I did this one and look what a got, 2 new things and a reminder about FAITH~ I will post pictures of my decorations when I'm all done and speaking of decorating if I dont wake up my husband nothing will get done....
O...one more thing, Larry has a friend who's daughter is battling for her life!! she is about 20'ish and has lukeymia,( wrong spelling ) and this family is about to lose their home, he's had to rented an apartment in San Fransisco for his wife so she could be closer to their daughter, and about 3 years ago him and his wife lost their oldest daughter to sepsis ( an infection that
went through out her body) please lets all pray for a CHRISTmas miracle for this family, they are slowly loosing their faith and that just hurts me so badly.....

What good news to hear your Thanksgiving was good. I'm so sorry for Larry's friends family. How hard that must be for them to lose their child and then again struggle with another child. So much sadness, they are definitely in my prayers.
