His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away-
his journey just begun,
life holds so many facets-
the earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and he was loved so much.

I got this in the mail yesterday from Dee, my friend and co worker who is battling bone "C". and I wanted to share it with you, its a beautiful poem and I hadn't really thought of my brothers leaving mom and I as a "Journey that begun" and it's so true, his journey had and has begun. Thanksgiving Day will be a month that my brother left to go and start his journey, and in some since of a way, our journey has begun as well, a journey of letting our Savior have his journey continue with me. Larry called and asked me if I'd like to go and have lunch somewhere today, and I told " yea, I'd like that" to get away from packing and to get out of the house, even if it is for an hour maybe will be nice. I haven't really left the house in a while, but my journey needs to take hold and what better day than today! Now, I'm sure this Thanksgiving wont be easy for all any of us, I know this..... but all I can do is let the journey that the Savior has for me take control......So, I'll ask you, " Has or had your journey began?"
I LOVE YOU~

What a nice poem! How thoughtful of Dee to think of you Annette. Packing must be such a chore. I hope you enjoyed lunch and the packing is done or almost done. Take care of yourself.
Beautiful poem.... I have never heard that one..Place that away in your heart and it will remind you that we are just strangers. Just traveling through........ I know that you will have a tough time this holiday season but always keep in your mind that he is happy and well.
If I do not get back over here before Thursday...... have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the warmth of family......
