It's going to be hot here...........

I was woken by 2 teenage boys being sick this morning, Johnanthon in my bathroom, and his friend in the other bathroom! Poor things, Johnanthons friend was hanging his head in the bathroom waste basket, Johnanthon had his hanging between his leg's, yea....Soooooo, you know what I was doing, scrubbing my floor at 5:30 a.m. when all was done I swung Johnanthons bedroom door open and asked " Have you boy's been drinking?" "MOM.....we aren't stupid!" then the 1,001 questions began, I think I narrowed it down to food poisoning, burritos...with cheese and sour scream! I told Johnanthon if he continues to do this, he was going in to get a shot to stop all of it cause he can dehydrate FAST, he just looked at me, I know when he was younger, this is going to sound mean, remember he has ADHD .....I liked it when he was sick, he'd just lay around, not like your typical little boy with ADHD, the hurricane would sleep and lay on the couch, I'm so glad he's learned to control his ADHD, but it still effects him in school, he gets so bored with classroom material, and all the negative energy from the other students truly does effect him, he likes calmness, I've learned so much from him, words cant describe what I've learned, o yea, there where so many times I just wanted to throw in the towel and give up, but no one knew how to handle him like I did, and still do, his Dad never attend support classes, fought with the school's (notice plural form? he got expelled from just about every school he attended) and teacher's, family members and friends, I was and still am his advocate, God blessed me with him and when Johnanthon started attending a small little Assembly of God church, that's when he changed, he was getting so tired of being labeled, so when my baby made the Golf team, and had a GPA of 3.33, some of his teachers that basically said he wouldn't be nothing, I showed them his GPA and his picture of him on the Golf team, especially a principle from his last Jr. High school, I walked in the office and saw him and asked him if he remembered my son and he just looked at me like your point is what? I showed him everything and said "Now, eat your words" I couldn't do all of this with out my faith in God, or in Johnanthon!

Sorry to hear your boys were sick, and know exactly what you went through with teachers/principals. I'm going to send them all his first novel(my son's) even though he's been published a number of times, I'm waiting for the big one.
There are days like today that remembering the things you said are so refreshing to me.
