I think things are looking up!

Man! It was so hot all week end, I did absolutely nothing but nap! today was suppose to be some what cooler Uh!? you call 108 cooler? I suppose it is after 111 yesterday. Larry and I went to breakfast and I put my cotton nightie back on and vegged and watched chick flicks, O I mean I did do some laundry and picking up but that was the extent of it! I think things are kind of winding down with Amanda and Chris, she told her Dad today that she thought it was just about over between the 2 of them, he got all butt hurt cause she went out to lunch with her friend and one of their friends that is home from the army, they haven't seen him in 2 years, then they went to this place where you can play putt putt golf and just had a good time, he even took the girls to lunch and my Amanda has truly enjoyed herself, shes talked about the whole afternoon to me sense I got home, this boy is crazy about Amanda, he wants to take her to Hawaii for their formal military dance, he'd pay for everything, even separate rooms! and wants to fly her to Los Vegas for the week end just to get away and have fun with a lady and separate rooms, I think Amanda is seeing all the fun shes been missing out on, Chris is still at the lake with his parents, I thought he was coming home tonight but he's not, YIPPY, her and I have had a great week end, no arguing, no fighting, nothing, we sat on the couch Friday night and caught up on soap operas, we laughed, giggled, I'm hoping she see that things are different when shes not with him, I've let use my car to go out and have coffee with friends, hang out, go shopping, just what ever will make her happy and you know shes in such a better and prettier mood with out Chris around, God loves when a mother prayers for her children and I haven't stopped, and I wont give up. Well, I just found her army friend is coming by and I'm in my nightie and dishes are wanting to cleaned so I need to go, I love you and thank you, all of you for praying for Amanda. XOXOXOXOX

How wonderful to think of you two sitting having fun together. It just brings a smile to imagine that healing for both of you. I am just thrilled that your having so much fun with Amanda. It was 111 today and I got talked into a pool! I have just been a wet noodle all afternoon! took out all the energy from me.

I'm so glad you guys had a fun day together...maybe something good CAN come out of this heat - you were forced to stay indoors and look at the bonding that occured! I'm seeing your weather widget is reading 91 degress and it's 10:19 pm...just ridiculous!

just a little break in time....enough to see things through their own eyes....that is exactly when my daughter saw the light.....overnight actually.....she needed support being strong to get through the first several days....but after that....she never looked back.
hoping that amanda does see for herself...the beauty in being herself and enjoying life.
keeping you all in heart and prayers....
love you,
kimberly
