With Valentines over, I guess whats next is that little green man...I need to "google" that and see just how St. Patricks came about maybe get my books out on the catholic saints and see who St. Patrick is and what role he plays? So how was every ones VD day? My Johnanthon told me "Hey Mom.....Happy VD day" just the way he said made me giggle, I personally knew what he meant and I said "Yea, you too" as I handed him his heart shaped box of candy that had a cartoon picture of a cat on it, and it read.. "Your the cats meow" he just rolled his eyes and ate all 4 pieces in it, I always get my children some kind of candy for Valentines day and at Easter, a chocolate bunny. Larry got me a potted plant it's a "Peace Lilly" plant, a box of Almond Rocca, took me to dinner, and let me tell you how romantic we are...came home after a nice dinner, he put his p.j. on, and me I put on my long flannel nightie, sweats, and slipper's, and watched t.v....now you cant get any more romantic then that, the mood was just WONDERFUL!! (hehehe) The wind is blowing so hard here, for our part of the world, not like what some of you get, I was watching the birds trying to fly, and they are having a bit of difficulty, I think I have some stale crackers, I might go put them on the fence, and feed'em, and watch my cat watch the birds while her fat tail sways back and forth, she wont go out...to windy and cold for her! It's a "Lifetime" movie day, but Larry's got the race on, so I'll have to get my bed all comfy for me and Licorice and we'll watch movies, in between bird watching. Well, my sweet friends, I could sit here and ramble about what ever all day with you, but there is a pile of cloths that are looking at me, and no one else in this house know how to run the washer but me, did I tell you I REFUSE to wash my teenagers cloths, I haven't done their laundry for a while now, they don't put them in the dirty hamper, so I told them I REFUSED to wash them, they some how get washed! Well tootles my friends.....

Kristin bought me a coffee, but she always does, so it really wasn't for Valentine's day...but it was a relaxing day and I enjoyed it. I did some of homeless Rita's laundry because all of her belongings got wet and I delivered them to her with a new tarp to help keep them dry...that pretty much sums up any excitement I may have had.
It really is windy out there...good day to stay indoors! Poor birdies.
Don't blame you there...... Teens should wash their clothes..... Makes them good adults.... (I think my Grandmother told me that as I was pitching a fit because all my clohes were dirty) hahahhah
As for the little green man.. My Dad is Catholic and his dad was born on St Patrick's in Dublin Ireland.. Boy you do not get any more Irish than that........... He and my grandmother named my dad
Paul Edward Patrick Ignacius Walsh.. My gosh, how would you live a name like that down!
I used to celebrate the holiday but over the years and my relationship with my Dad being so bad, I just let it slip on past me.. But I will come back and see what you discover about the luck of the Irish!
Almond Rocha, licorice...bird watching, and laundry we are just so much a like. hahah
I have had a wonderful weekend too.
Getting the children the treats for the holidays is so important to me too. It is the roots of memories.
Mine are still learning to do the hamper things. I go crazy at washing clean clothes.
Annette, thank you for the comments you have left me. I feel like you could be one of my sisters.
I always wish we could have coffee together. Maybe someday when I am able to travel me and Elizabeth can come and meet you.
Stop by for my give-a-way..
love you, Nita
