"St. Nick"

Hi Guy's! Whats everyone doing on this cooooold Tuesday night? I thought I'd post a little something tonight cause in the morning I'm going to be busy, and I LOVE to blog and read blogs. I caught myself doing the darnedest thing today...I was whispering about our God, cause I knew somewhere on that floor, there was an atheist, O I know what it was about now...we were talking about how can these people not believe in God and how they want "In God we trust" taken out and off of everything possible, and I was telling my co~worker about this nurse who was an atheist and how I told this nurse "We'll you people don't have any problem spending my money" and just how do you guys celebrate Christmas? and she said that they (meaning her family) just do the "Santa Clause" thing and I said "Do you know that Santa Claus is originally from Saint Nick? and that's a Saint for giving and is recognized in the Catholic church? and you know she was speechless and walked away from me! well any ways I told my co~worker "Why am I whispering, O I know why...maybe cause I don't want to offend them?" well they don't care about how I feel and all I can do is pray for these poor souls that are lost" This time of year I think about people who don't believe in Christ and how sad their lives and world must be. I need to get more comfortable with this nurse and see why she believes like that, I want to know if she was raised like that as a child, which I'm thinking not, maybe I'm just hoping that she knew Lord as a child and something steered her away from him, like so many, so if that's the case..the seed has been planted, it just needs to be fertilized and water and light, bright beautiful light needs to assistance in its growth. I love my God so much and I'd shout it over a loud speaker over the whole world if there was speaker that would let me, and in Iraq, they'd kill me for it, I just cant imagine not believing in something that we so adore this time of year, can you?

Dear Annette, I love how frankly you speak of your belief, which by the way is mine as well. I have truly found my comfort in my faith especially over the last few months. I don't know what people without this safety net do when they are in need. I have started to keep a journal of prayers answered. I feel even stumbling upon your blog is a little nudge from above. Thank You.
