We went Christmas shopping this week end......ICK...what has happened to the spirit of it, people cursing, I wanted to but I refrained my self, people yelling at each other, I'm taking these where family member's, what happened to the love, I'm one to be asking, I had to yell at Larry, but I have a reason...I'm sick, running fever, and feeling extremely tired, so there! I heard cashiers say "Season's Greeting's" as people where finished up paying for their stuff, and our cashiers said it to us and I responded back, imagine that..me putting my 2 cents in.."No! It's Merry Christmas to my family" and she smiled! I suppose they are told to say it, Amanda said she'll tell people " Merry Christmas" when she's helping people out to their car, she said "It's my right to show my faith" that's my girl!!!!!! well you lovely ladies I truly need get off, I know the fever is back, Licorice, loves me being sick, we've been napping most of the day, or laid up on the couch with a blanket. I so love all of you in a very special way, and remember to say "Merry Christmas"!!!!!! Tons of hugs to all.

I love the movie Trading Places with Dan Akyrod and Eddie Murphy.
When Dan Akyrod is dressed as Santa and he is eating a huge drumstick off a turkey! It makes me laugh until I cry.
Your post reminded me of that movie. I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I just want to say, BAH HUMBUG tO those cheery clerks. Just thinking about doing it makes me laugh.
I hope you get to feeling better my friend. Love You, Nita
Do say Merry Christmas, it is our RIGHT. If employers don't like it tough let them get someone else at this late date.
