"LIPS"

Good morning all my friends, it's cloudy and somewhat kind of cool out, and I'm loving it!!!!! This morning as I was coming home from taking my Johnathon to school I was surfing the radio channels and my fingers stopped turning the dial and it stopped on a Christan channel and I usually listen to country and Western these days but now that I think about God had intended for me to listen to this song that was playing, seriously.. in the lyrics the guy was singing about what your eyes see and what your ears hear and they should be seeing and hearing things this way, and the one part that hit me was when sang about the lips, he sang about how the words that come out of our mouths so hurt, when we should be saying sweet things, and last night I had to tear into Chris and I said somethings that where VERY, VERY hurtful and instead of just keeping those lips of mine shut I allowed these terrible words to roll off my tongue, I will apologize to him for speaking like to him like I did, but I wont apologize to the fact that I am Amanda's mother and I will interfere any time I think my daughter is being hurt! I over heard him telling Amanda as I was walking back into the house, "She has to earn my respect back now" I turned back around and very softly and smiling the whole time and said "O Please...I have to earn your respect back now,very funny, your a kid for crying out loud, adults earn respect not snot nose kids like you" I could go on and on about this, but I refuse to let satin ruin my day by dwelling on something like this. Lips: something so small can be very hurtful.
