Happy after the fourth of July to all of you!! I stayed home last night, the kid's all went some where and Larry had to work, and besides I had to keep the our dog Kelsey in sane. I was cleaning out some of Larry's bedside night stand drawers and I came across the poem from when he was NA & AA rehab some years back, isn't it funny how God will just allow something to surface, do you know how many times I've looked through that very same drawer that had this poem and never seen it, until just the other night, and I couldn't have found it at better time considering what's taking place in our personal lives right now, so I know deep in my heart God wanted me to find it....and I want to share it with you!
How often do we wish for another chance
to make a fresh new beginning?
A chance to blot out our mistakes
And change failure into winning-
And it does not take a new year
To make a brand new start,
It only takes the deep desire
to try with all our heart
to live a little better.
And to always be forgiving
And to add a little "sunshine"
To the world in which we're living-
So never give up in despair
And think that you are through
For there's always tomorrow
And a chance to start new!
