"Amanda & Johnanthon....Driving???? (o know)

Well by George I made through the week end at work, it's not too bad, a little more quite after all those "big" bosses are off, it's a different pace on the week end, little more laid back, depending on who's your crew, I worked all week end with a "go getter" and I was never SO tired as I was yesterday after work, I had to come home and take a little nap! Johnanthon made it through the driving school this past week, so this morning him and Amanda are going down to take their test for the driving permits, I trust John's driving, it's Amanda's that worries me.....seriously!! I had her pull my car in the garage Saturday evening and she just backed up with out looking, and the whole time Chris is standing on his bumber of his parents Tahoe, and I'm in the back seat looking out, SCARY is the only word to describe it! I told her "You ARE so lucky that there was children, or else you would never get to drive, cause me and that child parents would have beaten the sh*t out of you" I am not looking foreword to her driving, any one have an old clucker for her to drive that they'd like to get rid of, maybe I can put her in the county fair to drive in the destruction derby....she'll be perfect for that! So my time of having control over them is winding down, maybe I'll get GPS system and secretly install it and know where their at and for how long....on the other hand that wont work, cause Larry will know my where abouts, whats a mom to do......Just let go, I suppose, and on that note.......Ta~Ta

Don't fret mom...she'll do just fine...but I guarantee you will be diligent about praying...lol. It really is the "other guy" you will have to worry about....I didn't worry so much until they started driving on the freeway, but I trust God will provide safety, so I maintain a sense of balance most of the time...Kristin passed her EMT test AND she got her license for driving an ambulance...now THAT'S scary! If they knew what I knew....lol.

LOL annette....you are hilarious....ever thought about putting your words in a book?
annette...i have had five girls learn to drive and we have gone through seven (7) yes seven cars between all of them. of course not all 7 were THEIR fault....but it has been a wild and crazy ride....but like you said "what can you do?" pray, like joni said! :) thankfully they have all be alright....but it is part of the process....and believe me, they get more careful with more experience!
hope you are having a wonderful day....and i hope (?) that they both pass their test today! :)
hugs and love,
kimberly

It is hard when the kids start driving. It is kinda scary. I tended to fret too. It is a hard habit to break..
I just said a little prayer every time they went somewhere. Thank you for the comment you left me today Annette.
You are loved too..
I hope you have a great week. xoxo Nita
