"MY LOVE"

Hi Good Friend's!! I t seems like its been forever since I last been on here, it seems like the the days just all run together, so busy, and I don't even know why, or what keep me busy, strange sounding uh? but it's the truth! Guess what? I took that little test on Phyllis blog one day last week and I am still amazed at what it said, now brace your self's..it said "Genius" can you imagine?! It has got to be mistake, the only "genius" thing I have is spell check, but if it wants me to be one, I can fake it and be one! School is winding down around here and I've thinking every morning these last few days"I wont have to get up and rush around in the morning's, just 2 more week's of this stuff" Amanda got her cap and gown yesterday and as soon as she got home she tried it on. On one hand I am happy for her, but then on the other hand I'm sad...her life is going to go so fast from this point on, I am truly not ready to let her go out into this adult world yet, I can remember just yesterday I was packing her little lunch for preschool, and her wearing these cute little sundresses and her pony tail with pretty matching ribbon, and now it's shorts, saltwater sandal's (that Joni got her started wearing since I think second or third grade, and has since) and her hair is still very pretty just no ribbon or bows, and I want it all back, that's when she went to bed at 8, now it's 11:00. I know we have to prepare our children for the adult world, but I didn't know I had to prepare myself for the separation, I've seen some changes in all these years with her, some good and some not so good, she's matured so much in the last 6 month's, been through some pretty ugly time's but also had some very memorable one's, so now whats next in this stage? she's such a beauty inside and out, and when I look and stare at her with out her catching me of course cause I get this"what are staring at?" I am reminded of the beauty that God gifted her with, the love and kindness he's made her heart, and how blessed I am and all of us that have the honor of knowing her and and her beauty just how fortunate we are.... what a joy I have and I am so happy I can share her with the world!

My daughter Elizabeth is 18 and I know how you feel exactly. Without John here with me it is really sad. We had talked about how we would do things together after the kids were grown.
You really encourage me Annette. It is good to find someone who is going through the kids growing up thing.

Amanda is a beautiful girl Annette and she will contribute great things to the world...it is so very tough to see them grow up so fast...I wish mine were both little again, but now we need to cheer them on to the next page in their lives...at least they know who their #1 fans are...for all time.

love to you ~
