Whirl wind Wednesday

I am already off to a busy day, Gosh.....John has Golf practice, then he wants to go to a meeting on reffing at baseball games, I think he wants to do that so he can tell coaches to get off the field, his time to get even with any of them who was "mean" to him as a child, they had no patience with him, then Amanda has a Dr. appointment, laundry, grocery shopping, getting my car washed, but that might wait cause I think were going to have more rain, dinner, goodness. I love it in the morning's when I am home alone, it's so peaceful, gives me a chance to talk out loud to our Lord, I do my best conversations sitting right here at this computer! It's going to be another beautiful day here, sun is out, and the ski is chrystal clear blue, looks like a huge pool above my head, I sit out side when the weather is permitting and sit in the sun and just listen to the bird's and rush of cars going by, I listen to one of the neighbors little dog bark, I know it's little by its bark, and once in awhile I yell, "Shut up" I am so thankful they're not home when I do that, and usually at that time I'm not into hearing a dog bark at what ever, my Mom had a miniature dachshund, and she thought she was human, she was an old lady, never had children, never been with a man, and she'd bark at "What ever" I asked my Mom once,"What is she barking at?" and my Mom said,"O parabley because the wind is blowing or the leaves are moving" she was a grouchy little thing at time's, but very good company for my mom at the time, I told my mom that her and Buffy where just alike! I love my Mom, she makes me laugh so hard when we talk that I have tears, or my cheeks hurt from laughing, the older she gets the funnier she is (sometimes) that little lady I told you guy's about, the one that had the stroke was a little frightened about going down for test, she's going to be fine, like my dad just a long road ahead of her, she has neuro facial problem's and some little paralyzing on the right arm, I told her like I told my dad, that she was lucky in so many ways, explained to her about my dad, her children where there when I went and checked on her, and they asked me if I was the one who talked to her before going down to the test? They Thanked me, and said that they're mom talked about me and wanted to know who I was, working in the hospital your afraid of getting in trouble for what ever reason, but I confessed it was me, it's thing's like that, that make me love my job!

i know what you mean about loving the quiet mornings.....especially when you have such a busy day ahead, annette....
so sweet of you to help your patient feel comforted....we always appreciate kindnesses....i imagine that IS such a rewarding part of your job! one of my daughters is a nurse and that is why she makes such a good one....she has a kind heart and is very compassionate....also why it is so hard on her at the same time!
enjoy your busy day, annette....hope it is a GOOD day!

I'm so glad you can take time out to relax. I know too that you are a blessing to your patients. They are lucky to have you.

Enjoy your sunshine!
