Joni

Here it is already Tuesday just 3 more day's until Friday and I was just hoping my spell check is working cause I think already misspelled something. Let's see what can my Tuesday treasure be?..... how about when my Mom and Dad would take Joni and I camping at Pincrest Lake when we were younger, I think in the 4 or 5 grade, not long ago, and my parent's would rent a camping trailer and Joni and I would insist that we'd sleep in the back of my Dad's truck. Mom would fix all this food like fried chicken, potatoe Salad, cake's, or what ever she thought could stay out and be safe, well this one night Joni and I were in the back of the truck looking at the star's and just talking about what ever, didnt seem like we were back there very long and there were these storage cupboard's that you could put your food in, and this one I heard something,I told her,"Listen.....here that?" we thought it was bear and got scared and laid there real still, well we didnt sleep much that night, when the first ray of sun came out we jumped out of the back of that truck and went to looking, and what ever it was ate all the bread and mom's cake, and what ever else it wanted, my Dad said it was racoon, but to this day I think differently, it ate too much to be a racoon. Joni and I would rent these paddle boats and paddle all over the lake, and then our leg's would hurt for day's. Joni was and still is my best friend, I didnt keep in close contact with her when we graduated and got married and so on and so on, but we could always count on each other to be there when we needed a friend or for anything, like tonight I couldnt get onto my music for my blog to work and who did I call? that's right......Joni. How blessed I am to have her since the 3 grade, I can picture our grandkid's playing together, sitting in wheel chair's and Joni being the lady she is wont gossip, me on the other hand I will be the first one to tell someone off and she'll say,"Nettie". I love you Joni!!!!!!!!!

What an honor it is for me to be one of your treasures Annette...I am so blessed with your friendship and I have so many wonderful memories of the two of us growing up. We didn't always stay in touch very well, but I always knew where you were if I needed you. My first trip to Pinecrest was with your family and I remember it well. That lake has served as a wonderful place for my own children to grow up and it warms my heart to know they are seeing things as we once saw them. I too, treasure your friendship in a multitude of ways...you make me laugh until my sides ache and just know that you can misspell any word in the dictionary and I will still love you. I adore your vision of our grandchildren playing together...the fun we will have!

It has been a beautiful day - thank you for adding to it.
Much love ~
