It must be them, it surley can't be ME?

I am so glad work is over, it's been one of those days where my patients have been tested, all day long. I got upset right off the bat at a older gentleman not trying to give at least 99% of himself, and he was demanding, he THINKS he cant walk very far and for a few steps I was tricking him, told him not to sit down cause I didn't have the wheelchair behind him, well....he caught on to that one and told me how cruel I was and how I had no business working in the hospital if I didn't have compassion, I quickly turned my name badge around so he couldn't see my name, told him "You just stop it right here and now and sit down in this wheel chair" and as I was pushing him back I told him "I should make you walk back to your room" but I was doing anything I could fast, to be done with him, and swear what little bit of hair he had on his head, he's partially bald was flying, I was pushing him so fast, made him get him self back to bed, take his own shoes and socks off, I covered him up and walked out! His R.N. said "Annette, I never seen you this upset before" It just erks me, cause I know he can do more, but he knows how to play the system so he can stay longer!
Then I was on a interview panel, where in the world do they get some of these applicant's from? I thought," some real ding dings here"! maybe I'm just tired, or maybe this world truly does have ding dings in it, or could it be both? I say yea, that's it, it's both!
So, after the little incident with that gentleman, I'll probably get called to the principals office, AGAIN! on Thursday, I'm in there pretty frequently, can't imagine way, can you??

oh annette.....it really has to be hard.....i have spent enough time in the hospital during bryan's surgeries and my dad's stuff to see that there are some patients who are there to improve and some who would take the patience of Job to deal with daily!!!!!! some days are just harder than others....but i know you have so much love and kindness in that heart of yours.....so....get some rest and i hope tomorrow is better!!!!!!!
love you,
kimberly

Principle ought to understand those star students. If not then as the kids say the principle is sorta a jerk.

Sometimes when we pray for patience God gives us the opportunity to develop patience...that man is lucky you didn't put the skids on that wheelchair just to see him fly.

love you ~

This article was great. I found the best seal beach dentist and he’s got an excellent staff that will give you care and compassion.
